🍃✨ Tea Meditation in the Garden ✨🍃
Step into stillness and reconnect with nature through the gentle practice of tea meditation. Surrounded by the living beauty of the garden, this class offers a sacred pause from the rush of daily life. With each mindful sip, we will use tea as a doorway into presence—awakening the senses, calming the mind, and opening the heart to the rhythms of the natural world.
In this class, you’ll learn simple yet profound practices of mindful tea drinking combined with breath awareness and quiet reflection. We will explore tea as both a plant medicine and a meditation tool, drawing on traditions that honor tea as a pathway to clarity, balance, and inner peace. The garden becomes our teacher too, reminding us to slow down, root deeply, and align with the cycles of the earth.
Whether you are new to meditation or seeking to enrich your practice, Tea Meditation in the Garden offers a nurturing space to rest, restore, and rediscover harmony within yourself and with nature. Join us to sip slowly, breathe deeply, and let the wisdom of tea guide you back to center.
Location information and class details will be sent to those registered by June 1st.
Led by Sage L. Maurer ~ Director of The Gaia School of Healing since 2001. For over 30 years, Sage has practiced meditation in the garden, weaving together mindfulness, nature, and the quiet wisdom of tea. This beautiful daily ritual has grown into a path of presence, using each sip as a gateway to stillness and connection with the living world.
Blending Zen-inspired traditions with her own deep bond to the earth, Sage guides others to slow down, breathe, and rediscover harmony through the simple, sacred act of sharing tea in nature.
