About Us

At The Gaia School of Healing & Earth Education, we weave together the herbal traditions of our ancestors with plant sciences and local ecology. Our sacred plant medicine apprenticeships offer hands-on training in herbal medicine, ethnobotany, local plant ecology, ethical wildcrafting, growing medicinals, medicine making, tea meditation, and healing rituals. 

Students learn to identify and work with plants through the full growing season, forming deep, lasting relationships with them as our direct teachers. In all of our courses we teach plant communication, tea meditation, and journeying with the spirits of plants. Rooted in deep devotion and service to the plants, students learn to benefit the wellbeing of not just humans, but the plants themselves. Our courses have supported graduates in offering plant medicine to their communities for 25 years.

In Person Classes ~ Held in Westminster, VT (2 hours from Boston, 3.5 hours from NYC). Our first year training is also offered in Toronto, Canada, Colombia, and Sweden.
